NEF has made available PG Diploma Courses leading to specialization in the following domains:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management, and
- Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology.
The curriculum and other particulars are given below:
- Each PGD Course has six technical/specialized courses, and two soft-skill courses.
- It is the students’ choice to choose eight courses amongst an array of soft skills and technical courses they intend to specialize in and build a customized package based on their learning needs.
- Each specialization course has 80+ hours of coursework.
- The duration for completion of the coursework is 12 months.
- The content of the courses is developed by SKILLSOFT and delivered on PERCIPIO, a state-of-the-art LMS.
- Certificate course in ‘Six-Sigma’ is offered for free.
- Live online interactions and webinars with eminent Professors and Scholar Practitioners are part of the coursework.

The principal medium of presentation of these courses is online. However, students are facilitated with online and/or offline mentoring, and webinars by eminent faculty drawn from institutions pan India and abroad.
Students enrolling for these courses are given free access to the online business game titled "MY BUSINESS - MY STRATEGIES." Enrolled students will get a tab for free which is pre-loaded with tutorials, exercises, and reading materials.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
The following are the admission requirements:-
- Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University.
- An average score of 50% and above in the bachelor’s degree program.
- Test Score of any one of the following:- CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT or Any Other Management Aptitude Test (Subject to Review/Waiver)
- Performance in the Entrance Test, and/or Pre-Admission Interview.
- Official Transcripts from every undergraduate and graduate institution attended.
- Work experience is preferred and may entitle a waiver of any of the eligibility criteria given above. The decision of NEF University in this regard is final and binding.
- Students pursuing bachelor's degree programs and in their final semester are eligible to apply for the Diploma Courses.
CRITERIA FOR GRADUATION
The grading criteria for a pass in the tests/ examinations will be as per the norms prescribed by NEF-SUNY as detailed below:-
- A grade of 90% (GPA-3.6) & above is rated as an “A” signifying an exceptional, clear, and creative grasp of the concepts of the course with a demonstrated superior ability to apply the acquired knowledge on the job. It also means that the student has actively participated in all the assigned activities and has completed the coursework/assignments on time demonstrating exceptional work, and therefore deemed as passed. Grading of 95% - GPA of 3.8 and above is rated as an “A+” grade, meaning the student has passed the course with distinction.
- Apart from being certified by the State University of New York, a student securing a GPA of 3.8+ on a scale of 4.0 is conferred with the coveted “Appuji Gold Medallion of Merit,” an honor in recognition of a student's merit.
- A grade of “B” signifies a solid and required understanding of the major concepts of the course and the ability to apply those concepts. It also means that the student’s effort and participation have exceeded the minimal basic requirements for the course. All assignments are judged to be solid in content and completed on time. This is deemed to be the minimum criteria acceptable. Grading of 70% (GPA-2.8) up to 89% (GPA-3.56) is rated as a “B” grade, meaning the student has passed the course.
- A grade of “C” signifies a below-average demonstration and application of the concepts of the course and/or inadequate preparation in-class activities. It may also indicate that assignments were not completed in a satisfactory or timely manner. Grades below 70% (GPA-2.8) are rated as “C” and are deemed to have failed.
- However, the failed students are eligible to repeat the coursework without any additional fee, subject to prior approval of NEF-RIMSR. Such a provision to reappear for the examination is available twice.
FEE STRUCTURE
The course fee is subsidized by NEF, USA, which includes e-tutorials, reading materials, assignments, tests, examinations, & certifications; but excludes GST of @ 18%.

Student Loans on the most affordable terms are available.
MEDALLIONS
Students securing a grade of 95% and above are conferred with the coveted “Appuji Gold Medallion of Merit.”
Students securing a grade in the range of 90% - 94% are conferred with “Appuji Silver Medallion of Merit.”
Students securing a grade in the range of 80% - 89% are conferred with “Appuji Bronze Medallion of Merit.”
PLACEMENTS
Assured placements to students securing 80% and above pan India and abroad.
However, all the students will be permitted to participate in the “E-Handshake Program,” which provides a platform for a direct interface with prospective employers.
