RIMSR trained 2,600 Students from various Engineering Colleges located in Karnataka on "Business Essentials" using Level I of the "Business Simulation Game." The participants had great time playing the business game as they could learn and understand the building blocks of business.
The faculty of these colleges had great words for the "Business Simulation Game" as they felt the game helps exposing participants to real-life business situations and makes them understand the nuances of a successful business enterprise.
Apart, 2,300 more students pursuing Commerce, and Management Programs participated in the Business Simulation as part of "Entrepreneurial Development Program."
In September, RIMSR conducted a 3 day camp at Hegadadevana Kotte, a hamlet in the Mysore District and trained 175 rural high-school students on basic digital skills. In the second phase, the very same students will be exposed to financial and business skills.
In early October, 125 students underwent training on digital skills in Nonavinakere Village, Tiptur Taluk, Tumkur District.
90 students from St. Ann's Indian English School, Bangalore Rural were trained on "Computer Literacy" for four days. The students were exposed to word processing, spread-sheet preparation, power point presentations, and preparing publicity materials using MS Publisher.

CSR OF RIMSR
A small assistance to the parched fellow humans:
RIMSR sank a bore-well in a parched village in Agathagowdanahalli, Gundlupet Taluk, Chamrajnagar District. A humble contribution out of its resources.
RIMSR trained 1200 high-school students from schools located in rural and semi-urban places. This apart, 150 students of St.Antony’s Higher Secondary School, Kurubarahalli, Bangalore were exposed to Level I of DIGITAL-FINANCIAL-BUSINESS LITERACY PROGRAM.
Dr. Sujatha, Director, extended her thanks to RIMSR. While doing so, she felt the need for making such skill-building programs compulsory for all the students pursuing higher-secondary education, as the program empowers the students to be "independent," and "job-worthy/ job-ready" when they pass out of the 10th grade.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Skilled Personnel in China is 45%, in Australia 60%, in the UK 68%, in Germany 74%, in Korea 96%, and in India 2%. When it comes to rural and semi-urban places (where 70% of our population live – that is about 840 million people), Skilled Personnel are less than 0.2%.
To solve this crisis in Human Development, the Government of India has expressively articulated a policy named “National Skill Qualification Framework;” a scheme of the National Skills Development Corporation to produce skilled workforce.
RIMSR felt it necessary to do its might to alleviate this deficiency through capacity building of the youth by offering “Skill Development/Enhancement Courses” to students at affordable costs.
One such most useful learning intervention is the “DIGITAL/ FINANCIAL - BUSINESS LITERACY PROGRAM” backed by training in TALLY ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE to students in higher-secondary schools to become job-ready, and employable.
Scholarships are available to the socially-economically challenged students.

RIMSR trained over 200 students in my educational institutions on “Digital and Business Literacy.” As an educationist, I recommend this course to all the students, because, the program gives them the basic survival skills. A huge thanks to RIMSR.
I am now a certified project manager. The content of the Advanced Program in Project Management is great. Practically I did the course for free as I was given waiver of 90% considering my merit. Thanks RIMSR.
Ms. Geeta DevasurBangalore
I did the “Business Finance” course in RIMSR. It’s a great program and a must for all. It’s well structured, rich in content with plenty of illustrations. That it’s an online program, it never came in the way of my regular work-schedule. Moreover, it is supported by mentors who gave me all the help whenever I needed any clarification.
Teachers from RIMSR taught me basics of computer. I passed in distinction in Digital Literacy Program. I am very happy, because now I am better than others. They have also told me we will teach you good English, and business basics. I want to pass and look after my family because I can get a job easily. They did not charge me any fee it was free. Thank you sir.
Thank you RIMSR for having trained 90 students of our school (St. Ann's Indian English School, Bangalore) on Computer Literacy. The program is extremely useful, particularly to students in X and XI standards. They have now learnt computer skills the right way. It is indeed a delight to see them displaying their profiiency in Excel program, preparing spread-sheets, and writing simple macros. All these students are interested in acquiring financial and business skills. Do help them, becuase, in my view, these are the most essential vocational skills one should possess to compete shoulder to shoulder in the fiercely competitive job-market.
