SPECIALIZED SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The SPECIALIZED SKILL courses are designed to make the students "job-ready."  The course structure, tutorials/ lessons, reading materials, assignments, case studies, tests, and examinations are developed by SKILLSOFT and Certified by the State University of New York, Potsdam, USA, and the NEF University, Washington DC, USA. 

In India, the courses are delivered by RIMSR, an official partner, and an affiliate of NEF University, USA.

The courses give intensive exposure to theories behind concepts, and practical techniques to utilize the domain knowledge on the job.  The highlights of the Program are:-

·     Each course package provides 24/7 access. 

·     The Course duration is 6 weeks.  However, the duration may be extended by 4 more weeks.

·     The courses are content-rich and world-class. Presented on a user-friendly LMS with online mentoring by subject specialists drawn from world-over.  Additional hand-holding by professors and subject specialists is organized on-campus by RIMSR.  

·     For courses completed with a score of 80% or more, the students get course completion certificates from the State University of New York, Potsdam, USA, and the NEF University, Washington DC, USA.

I did not know anything about a computer.  I tried going to a school that can help with the basics.  All most all of them asked me to pay Rs.15,000/- as a fee.  One of my good friends asked me to explore RIMSR.  I met the Registrar and she was helpful.  She told me at the very beginning that my learning is the only thing that matters.  I enrolled myself in the Digital Literacy Program of RIMSR. In the beginning, I found it difficult, because, the tutorials were narrated in US English.  I thought of giving up.  But, Ms.Rajeshwari counseled me not to and asked me to go through the program.  After completing two tutorials, I got used to the narration in US English.  Then, it was very easy.  The tutorials are highly illustrated and there was no way that I could not understand.  The tutorials are exhaustive, very well structured, and easy to follow. After I completed the program I could know almost everything, like the evolution of computers, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and the Tally Program.  All this for Rs.99/- for the entire program including examination and certification. With the computer skills I acquired, I could get a job.  Most importantly, I am now on my own. I handle the accounts of 6 shops and establishments, and I earn more than Rs. 40,000/- a month.  I am so happy, because, I can now look after my sister’s education, and I am financially supporting my parents.  I am grateful to all the faculty members of RIMSR.

Six Sigma is a data-driven improvement strategy that views all activities within an organization as processes. DEEP LEARNING

It’s a type of machine learning based on artificial neural networks in which multiple layers of processing are used to extract progressively higher-level features from data.
